I am in Ottawa, so don't have access to my car, can someone email me(wdmack53@hotmail.com) or post a pic of the steering column, where it fits to the dash and up to the wheel? Outside the firewall is the same, but not sure about ho...

Anything to check on a 58 X-frame car?
(Preview)
Any areas prone to rust? Problem-prone systems? (It is not an air bag car I am looking at) I am going to see a 58 Bel Air (yes I know it is not a Canadian Pontiac but under the skin it is the same) next week, I hope, and if the price is right, I will have my "driver" car to feed my Jones while I continue to work on my 5...

4 door to 2 door compatibility
(Preview)
I have a line on trading for a 62 Parisienne 4 door. I am wondering what would swap over from the 4 door to a 2door post.
Do the seats or door panels swap over? Any of the body panels work in case my 2 door gets hit.
Thanks

Amazing the difference a day makes
(Preview)
Just picked up the '63 from the muffler shop last night. I had a pretty hood style glasspack system dumping in front of the rear tires. Way loud and super droney, not to mention a little stinky inside the car. So I got the guy to fab up a crossover pipe, and custom bend new tail pipes over the axle and stra...

Hello all! I have been tinkering away on my 60 Laurentian and have ordered some parts from RockAuto. I lucked out on the brake shoes , master cylinder and flex hose. The tie rod ends, filters and misc other goodies are a no go. I used the Belaire 4.3 US model to order. I need the tie rod ends and a water pump. A...

Saturday morning drive with a few issues.

Took the old gal out for a good spin yesterday to a retro diner on the side of highway 2. It's running great aside from a fuel issue under load and a heater core leak. I'm thinking pump or strainer sock in tank is plugged up. The heater core started to hemorrhage after a good cooling system flush and new w...

409 Super Flame Plate- which one?
(Preview)
Which do you like? I thing the red on the black car would be good. The white emblem has gold on it (it is the grill emblem from a 63), it is supposed to print much clearer than you can see in this pic. I've not done a poll before, I'll try that.
