Now that it is out, I have been able to find some numbers and now I am trying to figure out exactly what I have. The block code on the right front of the moto...

1964 Pontiac Tach
(Preview)
We are trying to have our tach repaired locally. We have it in our vintage radio repair shop that has determined that the meter is good but the module is bad. The module is potted in epoxy and if the tech could find info that stated the component values he could repair it. This is a long shot but does anyone h...

Is this worth buying for parts? What should I pay? I would strip and sell parts, I have no use for the car. Please don't tell me it's fixable, it's been under flood water, parked since about 1978. More pictures to follow.

Anyone know when GM of Canada stopped putting the 261 c.i.d. GMC truck 6-cylinder in our Ponchos as the base engine, and went to the stovebolt Chevy 6? My bro and I are arguing - our father had a new Strato Chief company car every year from '58-'68 (and another in '70) and we both remember him puking when t...

Can anyone date code this engine number?
(Preview)
My 1963 Pontiac Parisienne has a 283 block number 9V280505 I'm thinking it may not be the original motor for the car. Can anyone tell me if this is a 1963 built engine, if not, what year would it most likely be from. Also what was the motor # range for motors built in 1963. Thanks, -G

How many seat belts were usually placed in the rear seat of Pontiacs in the 60's?
(Preview)
Did they have enough for 2 passengers in the rear seat.....or three? I keep thinking it was generally for only 2 rear passengers....not sure. On the bench seat in front, was it common to have a set for the middle passenger ? Anybody recall?
