Swap the 6 for 8 327

Taking out a 230 6 cyl and dropping in a 327.I noticed different clutch sizes.From 9 to 11 inch clutch.Do I need to find a flywheel for this 327 to go in front of my 3 speed tranny?

I have just put on new hooker longtube headers and I can't put the next piece of exhaust pipe on because the transmission crossmember is in the way. Any solutions? Ill post a pic if that helps. Custom make a new crossmember....?

torque converter to flywheel

my torque converter is backed off right now and i was wondering if i need to wiggle it out a little or should the bolts just pull it into place it's only out by a 1/4 at most........ should i just put the bolts in tighten them a little bit then torque them down =)

vacuum leaks

i have alot of ports wide open if say i had a large enough vacuum leak could that mess with the air to fuel mixture enough to say make the car run very lean and not start. i say this i asked my autoshop teacher whatr was goin on and he said it sounds like a vacuum leak.....also when pete was here i put alot of fuel...

Hey carl i added a couple things to those valve covers you gave me =) don't worry the oil breather came from the old 283 and soo did the oil filler but showing you this might give away my whole engine scheme... you should see the old air cleaner HAHAHAHA

this engine is being a total bitch it's still going no where in a hurry. so i set up the new cap and rotor as you can see by the pictures it is facing the right way and it is at TDC. anyone have an idea what could be wrong?
