Steering gear (box) rebuilder in Manitoba?
(Preview)
I have been researching a bit on upgrading my steering box to a 12.7 to 1 ratio for quicker handling responses on the 68 Grande. From what I find is that everyone that upgrades the box comments on the upgrade as being positive. My box is not leaking but it is the standard S Saginaw box with a 6 on it, four b...

Front spring orientation
(Preview)
Hi everyone, is there a top and bottom side to the front springs? Mine dont have any white or yellow marks like I read in a post. They look symmetrical on both ends. I also read a post that said they can only fit in one way. It's on a 68 Parisienne. Thanks

Frame spec's
(Preview)
Hello all! So I have a 1966 Parisienne, Canadian model, and have had it in the frame shop for some adjustments - passenger side was sagging and turns out it wasn't suspension as I thought before changing the springs. The guy who owns the shop, didn't have the exact frame measurement specs for my car, s...

Installed Viking Hybrid Coilovers in the Grande.
(Preview)
Finally got around to installing the Viking hybrid coilovers I'd bought a while back. Breaking the front end apart on the B body is a job nobody enjoys, and I'd done it far too many times trying to find an optimum spring rate. Seems replacement springs are far too stiff these days, and it's rare anyone ca...

Is it a big job to change a PB booster on a 67 Parisienne?
(Preview)
I've had a rebuilt and replated booster on the shelf for years now, and since I'm about to replace the master, converting to a 1"bore from a 1 1/8", I'm thinking of using it as it looks so nice compared to the original one (which currently works perfect anyway, just ugly). Is it a big job to replace the boos...

Picked this old brake lathe up a couple of years ago from a family friend who was getting rid of it. Cleaned her all up and repainted it (why not right?) and finally have it all set up. Turned the drums on the 65, and they came out great! Been a while since i've done this so i practiced on some old ones first lol...

Which American Pontiac matches with the Parisienne?
(Preview)
My Parisienne is leaving the shop and about to make his import trip from Venezuela to Brazil. It goes with a problem the Venezuelan mechanics couldn't fix. The car has front disc brakes, apparently adapted from a Chevy Caprice. This construction leads to a difficulty in aligning, and to an unsafe res...

Rather than totally derail the "New York Times"thread (yeah, I know, I'm usually the king of derailing....) I figured I'd ask the question in a new thread. Are you guys saying there that you think the stock wheels from a late 60's Canadian Pontiac are different than the same era Impala? (to...

My Strato Chief turned 51 in May. It has 42,000 miles. It was up on the hoist the last while and when I walked by the other day, I noticed a puddle under the driver's front wheel. It appears my original shock absorber decided to leak out at such a young age and so few miles... Someone told me there is a company...

65-70 B rear spring spacers

Team, Has anyone used rear spring spacers on their 65-70 B Bodies? I have what I feel is the perfect rate in the rear, but unfortunately they have sagged a little since new. Anyone ever use Brakequip EZ Bend tubing?
(Preview)
I'm making new tranny lines for the project, so it'll have to be done just before dropping it in, when I get the trans attached to the motor. The old lines are going away with the 350 motor and TH400. I have steel 5/16 line, and man is the stuff ever hard! I can hardly bend it at all by hand, and the bending...
