Can someone tell me what the purpose of the hole in this part just off the exhaust manifold is? Did it connect to something? 1965 Acadian 194. do I need it again if Im putting in new exhaust? Sorry for picture quality and orientation.

Best way to get out seized lifters?

Working on a vigin 30,000 mile 283 that has been sitting for 40 years but the lifters have seized in the bore. Have soaked with "Moovit" and tried to grab and spin with visegrips. Some will spin but not lift and some still wont move at all. Any tricks to getting them out or am I just going to have to keep worki...

250 HEI in a 194?

Not to up on my 6 cyl's. Will the 250 with HEI that I pulled out of the 4dr fit in the 194 that I put in? Think it will but not 100% sure. Also want to split the exhaust and was wondering if both the manifolds were the same and the 250 would bolt to the 194 intake? Thx Jim
