Per the feedback in a previous thread, it seems like the consensus is that the Carter 4028 AVS was likely the original carb for a '66 Beaumont 275hp 327. As I know nothing about carb's, my question is... Any thoughts on how the performance of the Carter 4028 would compare to that of a Carter 9625?...

I have a 10 bolt, 8.2 diff with 3.08 gears. I have a chance to get 2.73 gears. Will these work on the 3.08 carrier or do I need a different carrier? Thanks in advance, Bob

Looking for advice to avoid buying the wrong cable. My 67 Beaumont has a 454 with 4 sp muncie. The cable is too short as the muncie has the opposite side exit. It comes up a couple of inches short. Any suggestions? tks
