After 65post was asking on here about the differences in NACA hoods year to year , which hood do you have 73 or 74/75 ? If it is a 74/75 style with 1973 stamped on the underside , what stamp is on the outter skin ? It will be on the passenger side flange behind the hinge with the hood open . Just curious . Mike.

NASA hood pick up

Two weeks ago I learned of a NASA hood with scoop inserts for sale in Bownmanville. I called and bought it sight unseen. Why? Asking price for this $800 gem was $150. Today I went and got it and its probably better than the one on my car. You can see that this thing is actually wider than my Suburban.

"I remember wanting to get one of those hoods for my dad's Lemans. Rare as heck. I like those Olympic edition LeMan's that came out in '76 with the red and white two tone.
