Emblem Placement Dimensions
(Preview)
There was a thread with discussion on where to locate emblems on a particular vehicle. Todd has suggested that there be a section in each of the separate forums for particular models, so I will start one in each of those sections. If you are able to assist with specs on body emblem placement for the model...

JB Weld on an outer door handle?
(Preview)
48 Fleetleader So I was trying to open the driver's door the other day and it was frozen. I didn't pull that hard but it snapped off right where it pivots, and now the splines are showing. The metal looks porous and foamy like an Aero bar. Could I glue it back on with JB weld or should I replace it? Would it h...

Inner fender photos?
(Preview)
Does anyone have a side shot of an exposed inner front fender? I am about to patch some sheet metal on mine but don't know the original profile of the front "ears" that snug up alongside the headlight mud guard. I'm sure I can wing it but would be nice to know the original profile.

Hello All: I'm new to the Canadian Poncho so this is the first post. I have a 1953 Pontiac Pathfinder. It has 14 wheels but I am told that they had 15-inch wheels when new out of the factory. Somebody may have changed for 14" thinking the lower look was better. Does anybody know what was the original? ...

My buddy is trying to re-install the windshield and stainless trim in his '53 Pathfinder. The upper part looks just like the upper part of the '55-'57 chevs I see on youtube - meaning the stainless trim gets installed before the windshield is put into the car. On the Chevies, it looks like the bottom t...

I was removing the old factory undercoating ,grease, oil and dirt from the floor pan and found the floor was painted/coated with an olive coloured paint/sealer. I make rear quarters, floor pans, rockers and so on. Right now I mostly make this stuff or AMCs.
