what about a non-Pontiac?

A fellow I know, has 2-1966 2 DOOR POSTS.. One is a light blue Bel Air race car runs 1170's not for sale.. 2nd is a white Biscayne.. He cleaned up engine compartment ,and painted front and installed tinted windshield.. He replaced front floor pans and finished repair and painted car in his shop. It has 71 seats covered in leather from my Pontiac, and car needs carpets and some interior tidy up. Car has nice big block with power steer, power brakes,3 inch exhaust,8 inch rallies, 4 speed auto. not sure about rear end yet...He wants 15 for it and I would like it at 10-12 What do you think?  This would be a real nice cruiser/racer...Carl2 blankstare

If its complete and running...Go For It!!! It'll make a nice match for your Poncho. At least its another GM product. Like me, I have a 60 Pontiac and a 60 Chev.. You'll need to get personalized plates though.... 1OF266S and 2OF266S GOOD LUCK!!!

OK  The buying is easy...BUT IS IT WORTH IT?  i would like some opinions  I want someone to say  too much too cheap   The green 66 Biscayne, that was bought to replace Jack and the Green Stock car, from Stratford, was sold for 10 to Goderich, then 15 to jack   Jack promptly put in a 15 thou motor..  Is the car in N.B. A 7500 8500 11,000 12,000 15,000?      Will TODD pay 5000.00 for motor? lol   confusedconfused   wheres Dave?

$15,000 seems a bit high to me.

You might be right..depends on the Acadian availability, and price.. The Biscayne, would end up closer to 20,000 with taxes paid on (appraisal)..and some interior work..  The Acadian would fit in my second bay, better, and it would be fun to have 2 -4 speeds..but it would be fun to have 2 BB 2 door white cars... Thanks for the opinion..  Maybe some one would be interested in Biscayne here in Ont ,if I brought it back anyway?

If you trust the price guides, a 66 Bel Air 2 door sedan in that condition (say #3?) is worth $5670. Now figure out what that engine is worth and add 'em together..
