Excellent choice, Todd

That's a great choice for the new home page picture. I can't think of a more deserving individual to have his car featured.

(Now I just hope he doesn't see I wrote this, or he's gonna have an very swelled head...)

Things are looking up on the CANADIAN PONCHO!   ...Its a good idea to show, the younger members, what a full size car looks like..  I changed my Avatar to effectively demostrate, the most common view of a Rat powered FS car... For those of you with Beaumonts, and Acadians, hang in there!  Maybe someday, you could have a big car too!!  lol     Lets pray Carl 1 gets a big car soon.. Hate to have to look at that jumping fish for a month!   yours in Pontiac  Carl too smile

Finally, our first disagreement on this forum!

I like them to the back on the 65 and 66 full size. Right to the back, 45 degree angle to the side and about 45 degree angle down, saw the point off the tip like the factory did.

Mine had them to back, and the installer suggested these would be less restrictive...The car runs 4 tenths faster with open headers.. We put on dynamax and fastened to old pipes to headers..I was thinking of haveing him put larger diameter front pipes witha balance pipe and cutouts for the drags..If I do that,we can put pipes where you like (suggest)  No arguement here, if I can put them original style, and use the cutouts...Perfect   do you have pictures or a diagram to see... Your flu came through on a e-mail ?I have been involuntariarly empting my stomach...

Oh no, you're sick???

That is one problem I never had, my stomach was good all week.

Finally went the day yesterday without Tylenol for the fever. I am coming around a bit today, I can feel it. Still sluggish, but the best it's been for a whole week.

Good enough that I contacted a guy regarding a 66 Grande Parisienne I know of..........

Just harassing you on the pipes. That is must my opinion of what I like, that's all!

Carquest tells me I can still get a factory dual exhaust setup from Walker. That's what I'm doing for now. They said it'd cost me around 300 bucks with performance mufflers (probably Flowmaster knock-offs). I'll install it in my garage. I'll get a REAL performance dual exhaust when I swap over to a big block. Dave with the Bel Air is going to donate his drivetrain to me, right Dave?biggrin

uhhh...ya, sure.  rofl.gif

and the exhaust system is nla todd.
i used '68-'72 chevelle frt pipes on the bel air (with headers), had to lengthen the rt side pipe about 6". used dynomax mufflers and just turndowns.
i think the walker chevelle pipes might be nla now also.

I'll have to yell at my Carquest guy on Monday. I assumed it was Walker but perhaps it was another company. They did verify a system was available..
