I had a chance to buy one of those four or five years ago, same color, factory 385 HP 427 T400 bench seat car. I made a trip to look at it - it was nice, and unusual, but needed lots of body resto.
It was one of the teal/turquoise colors from 68, the darker shade, with a black vinyl top and black interior, as I recall. It was in PEI that I saw it, but I understand it was originally sold new in northern Newfoundland. Nice car, complete, original and intact, but in my view it needed a complete restoration and I thought it was overpriced at the time for its condition. Had it been cheaper though, it could very well have been a candidate to have its motor stripped, which would have been a shame. So I hope someone did buy it and do it justice, because that has to be a very rare car.
