Help me bleed my floor jack please!

[QUOTE=Carl Stevenson;796646]I have a Blackhawk floor jack that has lost close to the top 1/2 of it's lift. I assume it has leaked out and needs filled and bled.

I can't figure out how to do this. I am able to get a little bit of oil into it, but no improvement on lift.

In the picture, to the left of center is a hex head plug which I am thinking is the bleeder. The slotted plug right of center seems to be for filling. When I pull the plug. there is a spring and a plunger that I can thread out. Anyone?

Having a very similar problem with my older Walker jack.....you can put some oil in, but it doesn't help much..........Mine has a little piston on the back that I have taken apart and cleaned, that helped a bit............It's probably under that lever on the left on yours...........I have been told that it probably needs some seals.....

Our jacks at work act up all the time. I usually send them to a hydraulics expert.
