Rear axle question

Does anyone know if the rear end from a 67 Bonneville is the same width as a 67 full size Chev?
Thanks
 Todd

I can't prove it, but I'm pretty sure it's wider Todd.

Can you share with us why you are asking?

Rear track width on the 67 Bonneville is 64 inches; on the 67 Impala it's 62.4 inches. Plus the Bonnie has a four link with diagonal uppers like the Beaumont & Chevelle, while the Chevy has 1 or 2 vertical upper links with a panhard bar. Upper control arm mounts are completely different and will not align. Suspect the lowers might be slightly off alignment too. However, if you factor in that the rim width on the Chevy is 5 inches and the rim width on the Bonnie is 6 inches, you might get very close. Only the measuring tape will tell.
