Boy, I don't know either, but if that is your car, you have a very cool project.

very cool car, i wish i knew the numbers on mine too. Somebody gave me a # to get that info so i will try to find it and give it to ya. I havent called yet but i have not even seen a 59 at any car shows yet so i would imagine there wouldent be too many 60,s either.

Thanks for the number, I'm sure I have it here somewhere. I will be sure to call soon. I just bought it on saturday at: http://www.antiqueautoandtruck.com/ . Lots of other pontiacs there that had no interest, they all got scooped up by a scrap dealer for less than $100. I would have bought all the 59 and 60's if this one hadn't gone so high.

Awesome car!!! I would've loved to get a pontiac 2 door sedan, but I had to settle for a 60 Chev....because it was there.LOL I actually missed a Strato Chief 2 door sedan a few years back for $1000, it was running, too. It sold before I got to it and seen it on Ebay about two months later, someone in BC had bought it just to sell.

So how complete is it?

What will it take to get it running/driving?

It is quite complete, the primary hood latch is busted, but I've got 2 parts car. The floor is only through in the pass rear, but all of the supports are really weak. It cranks over, but has no spark, and the shifter doesn't feel like it is attached to the trans. Also alot of water came out of the tail shaft of the trans when I lifted the car. I had to break 3 drums into many pieces to get the car rolling, I don't know how long it's been sitting, but there is a receipt for a '63 chev in the glove box dated 1975. The interior has been lived in by many other creatures too.
I remember seeing a list of parts to convert to front disc brakes, but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know the recipie?
I won't be able to work on it for a few weeks though, theres a honda powered vw I need to wire up first.
