I just brought home a 65 canso. Under the hood is a glass triangle bottle mounted to the driver side fender well. This bottle is capped and has antifreeze in it. I have never seen this before, was this an option?

That was standard issue back in those days if it looks like the photo. The cap said Washer Anti-freeze Solvent. You got your self one gem there. I'll bet that bottle alone would fetch close to what you piad for the entire car.
I've seen a few of those over the years as well, including on my 65. There is a reproduction label and cap available so it can all me made to look just like new.
