I used to own a 1965 Acadian Canso two door hardtop, six cylinder, powerglide automatic I sold it to someone (a truck driver) in the London Ontario area back in the early 1990's, he had a station wagon and bought this car as a father/son project. he came by my rental unit where the car was stored early in the morning maybe around six or seven AM was really impressed with the undercarriage and haggled a deal of $500 without the hubcaps, The car looked ugly, red oxide primer, had a really poor interior and chrome but ran fantastic (rebuilt engine/trans) and had an incredible undercarriage that had been sandblasted, the floors were replaced with aftermarket pans and the frame rails were tied with square tubing. A stock car builder (Tom Welch) had done all the undercarriage work for the previous owner. I doubt the car would have been scraped because the dirty work was done-the previous owner had nearly $4000 invested at the time, does anyone here own the car or know of it ? or what became of it ? Just wondering
