My past week was SPECTACULAR!!!!

As you may have seen by the bazillion replies I made in the last couple of hours, we were gone over a week and I had a whole pile of Pontiac reading to catch up on tonight when we got home!

What a week! My nephew came from Alberta (67SD396 on here) and joined us at our newly purchased cabin east of Kenora Ontario. Weather was awesome, fun was had by all.

We came home to sick computer or I would give some pics to show how much fun it was. It won't open my hotmail account emails, nor will it open photobucket to let me host pics and show them on here. Not sure what went wrong with it while we were gone.

Anyone know what I should look for on this crazy machine to find out what ails it?

Thanks.

Computer is all better now. It was an internet problem they say.

Anyway, this is what we had night after night after night............... Boy it was boring......NOT!

And to top it off, Mr. 67SD396 pulled this out of a little bay full of weeds one day...

That thing sure made him work to get it to the boat. It was 12 lbs which is very large for our area of Clearwater Bay we were in that day. The night before our daughter had a 5 pounder which is already pretty good for there.

And of course there was lots of this type of thing day after day after day.........

LOL!!!

That BBQ load of kabobs only tasted about 20 times better than it looks, if that's possible.

Aren't those about the most amazing sunsets you ever saw? It was day after day we just ooo'd and ahhhh'd over those.

And let me know when the limo is coming so I can stock the fridge full of Coke and kabob ingredients!

You should have seen the look on Mike's face when that jack decided he was going the opposite direction from the boat!

Or the look on my face when my first swipe with the landing net missed the back half of the fish and he took off again...

I remember my parents taking us to a friends cottage when I was about 10 or 11. We'd stay for a week at a time. The fresh air, the lake, bonfires and good food made for great memories. Better still, the cottage was on back roads and my dad actually let me drive the 69 Strato Chief a number of times! He sat beside me looking a bit pale however..

My Aunt an d Uncle had a cottage on Lake Erie, I remember staying there for a week at a time also, My stepfather used to let me take his 307, 3 speed Nova around the roads past all the other cottages, and he'd let me take it alone with my sister and my 2 cousins....I remember really narrow roads and tryin to get up enough speed to be able to shift into second, Never got to though, the roads were too short.
