I long for the days when they had coloured interiors.  Anything other than grey or beige (neutral)! doh

The last two cars I factory ordered had coloured interiors but that was a while ago, 86 Monte SS, white with red guts then a 92 Bonneville slate with blue guts. After that they have all been grey bought from dealer stock.

I had to buy an interior piece for my Suburban recently and I was surprised it was in stock at the local dealer, the parts manager said , "I stock them, there are only two colours grey and tan so why not?"

I noticed muttly Monday night at Thornhill. I noticed the 502 under the hood and the near perfect interior. It was a pleasure talking with "never noticed" muttly.

Speaking of noticed, muttly noticed my car and recognized it as the August Feature car so that's how we got to talking.

The web site is working Todd!

I believe the white convertible is an original owner car.  327 275 hp and a 4 speed.  Neat.  The park sure is a lot better than the GM parking lot.

It sure looks like the bench seat car from ebay. I think that was 67BBSD's car, right?

Hey Carl,

Both of these cars had bucket seats. I don't know if it is 67BBSD's car. I'm positive that these cars were not on ebay....I have been glued to that site for years and never seen those cars up for bid.

Tom

My mistake boys....the blue car is a bench seat car....and the license plate reads
6T7SD396......is the owner of that car a member here?.....because I believe he also owns that red conv. you posted.....and you're telling me that 427carl was the past owner of that car?

As far as the blue 67 SD on ebay....never seen it posted.

But I stand to be corrected.

Can't pull nothing pass you guys...biggrin

Carl you should know that I own both the Blue Hardtop and the Red Convertible (since it was your car 30 years ago)

Pontiac Passion. Aren't you the Tom that I met at the show when I was leaving in the blue hardtop?

I did buy the hardtop from 67BBSD and I do believe that it was on E-bay before I bought it.

Both are numbers matching 396-325hp cars:
The Blue hardtop is 1 of 451 total and 1 of 200  with auto.
I wish I knew how many were built with the special order bench and column shift. (Very rare I am sure)

The Red covertible is 1 of 66 total.
I don't know the breakdown for the trannys but mine is an automatic, console and black buckets.

Here are pictures of the cars at Autofest last month

Carl,

Yes, thats my old car bench seat 2-speed powerglide on the column. I saved it from the shelter of a garage in a 20 year old subdivision where it sat for 19 years partially disassembled-dreaming about cruisin the streets again. 73817 Sport Deluxe 396/325 hp, originally white, A51 and D55 delete. I had it on E-Bay but sold it through the national old car trader magazine.

Ken
