Thanks guys. I had a pretty decent day even if it was a work day. I told everyone I was excited because now I could legally go to bars! I also told everyone that "even though it is my birthday, don't feel obligated to buy me a coffee from Tims, but if you do decide to buy me one, I take double creme". I got a cofee.
Geez, the last 40 years have been a blur. In the same blur I'll be 80 (or fertilizer) On a brighter note, all those cute 20-somethings at work guessed way low on my age. It must be that clean small town air...
If it's any help Todd, I once commented to my mom how quick the birthdays were coming. Know what she said? "After you're 20, you're 30". Meaning it goes fast. That was bearable. Know what she said next? "After you're 30, you're 50!".

I hope this isn't a sign of things to come! I'm spending my first full day of being 40 home sick. Last night about 10 pm I was hit with the mother of all migraine headaches. I've had them since age 8 and usually get about 5 or 6 "doozies" a year. Last night was a doozie plus one. Must be the weather change. I'm finally seeing some relief (enough to go online). The headache is now a dull roar and I just have to contend with that feeling you've been beat up you get after an attack. You fellow migraine sufferers will know what I mean.
A sudden drop in barometric pressure usually splits my head too, so I feel your pain, hope you feel better soon.

I'm not a video gamer but i do have a Porsche RC car around here. I haven't run it for a little while. Got it at Radio Shack a few years ago so nothing fancy...but it's actually a nice replica of a 96 Lemans racer. Best one i had when i was little was a Tyco Turbo Hopper. That thing was practically indestructible!
I usually only play video games when my son is. However I have to admit sneaking a game of Gran Turismo 4 from time to time. It's a blast driving a late model GTO or Mustang GT around Nurburgring!
