What Non-GM cars would you like to own.

Don't worry, we won't tell anyone. What old (or new) non-GM cars would you allow into your garage? As you may know, my tastes can be a little wierd.
I wouldn't mind:

Any 57-61 Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler. The bigger the fins, the better. A 60 Fury would be cool (a wagon would be cooler) or a 60 300F. I love that dash!
wagon.jpg
A 67 Beetle . No idea why, but I've never had the opportunity to drive or work on one.
386077.jpg

An early (60's) VW Westfalia. Someday I want to take a trip to the east or west coast in one of these

68-9 Torino Fastback.

61 Studebaker Hawk 289, 4 speed please

70 Superbird Hemi
plymouth-superbird-1970a.jpg
69.5 Super Bee 440 6 pack. Lift off hood and steel wheels works for me!

Volvo P1800

09 Challenger
2009-dodge-challenger.jpg
An early Toyota Landcruiser
toyota-land-cruiser-1979-pinatubo27.jpg
Jensen Interceptor (440 Chrysler powered British car). Apparently some came with 6 packs

Sunbeam Tiger

I'm sure there are others but these are what currently comes to mind..

Todd, that yellow Torino is IDENTICAL to my grade 8 teacher's car, and I mean a twin!

Here's a few. The color is right on the convert, but not the other 2.

Make it a 440 please. Never been that impressed by a hemi.

427 Fairlane is a nice looking car, and certainly should get some respect on the strip!

Always thought the 55 and 56 rags looked cool. The powertrain choices sure sucked though.

Well how do you like that...2hrs ago there was an ad for a 68 Cuda fastback looked like it was in decent shape, great interior, 318 with auto...now it's gone. I imagine the price of $4000 was a typoweirdface  I knew it was too good to be true.  Oh well, i didn't have the cash lying around and no place to put it...but damn it looked good.  If i had to settle and not get a convertible i'd live with a fastbackwink

The * indicates one's I already have and hope to get done before gasoline is extinct..

32 Ford 3 or 5 Window w/ Ardun Flatty power
37 Ford 2 Door Coach Humpback w/ a 427 Chevy
*49 Stude 1/2 ton w/ F-Car Subframe and a 409 Chevy

Well the Barracuda is back on. Apparently it's not a joke...but now it's only listed in the Brantford ads, so i guess it's not in London or Hamilton*L*

I found the ad for that Impala.  Looks great.  It seems to me to be screaming to have a 409 tri carb put into it.

Well, I already own a 2007 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Limited.  It is one very nice truck and a blast to drive.  First toyota I ever owned but I just liked it better than a Silverado.  The only other new would be the 09 Challenger, not a mopar guy, except for a diesel, but this is one cool car.
As for old, a 40 Ford is hard to beat, I would like to own a moon shine car 38 - 48 coupe or two dr sedan.  Paint it black with steelies and small caps.

I once talked to a guy in Kentucky that had a passion for movie cars and he claimed he had owned 3 or 4 of the original American Graffiti cars at one time or another.  He also had owned the 55 Cadillac 4dr from Driving Miss Daisy.  That car was rented for the movie and went back to the owner in TN after shooting.  That gentleman passed away and his son sold the car to the Kentucky gentleman.  He in turn sold it to a doctor in Egypt.

Didn't mean to tease but i'm glad you liked the pics.  I was mentioning about the 68 Barracuda i found yesterday.  Well i got an email back, still seems to good to be true for $4000.  The seller says it was her husband's car, he passed away 4 months ago.  I don't have the money anyway, but if it's the real deal, what a deal.

The ad is a fake, it is all over KiJiJi ... don't wire/send any money! There are many more fake ads out there.
