Some pics from A&W Cruise tonight, its getting cooler out, earlier, so don't imagine there will be a lot more shows(unless the weather holds out) Got up to 16 today here in Cowtown, with hardly a cloud.

I have to hear about the Grand Sport. Is it for real and if so how did it get to Canada ? I have an identical one and know that only 5 were made, one only in that livery, for road racing to take on the mighty Shelby Cobra's. Oh, mine is a slot car....
It seemed like everyone had their Yeller cars out last night. there was probably a couple more that I didn't take pics of. I didn't check the Gran Sport out, but I seen him unload it off the trailer behing the building, then drove around the block and in to the lot from the main drag. The 67 chev was all original 327 w/factory air. The guy bought it about 15 years ago from the original owners paperboy(who owned it for a couple years and realized he wasn't gonna do anything with it) The Ford is an Awesome sounding car, and it has a Vinal roof????Looks a little strange on that model, don't think I've sen a 64 with one before.

All 5 Grand Sports built still exist today. I know there is a lot of money in Calgary so it is possible this is one of the 5. It is painted as #003. Seeing that it was trailered there makes me think so as well. I mean how many guys could pull off a reproduction like that. The car may also be marginally if at all street legal explaining the trailering to the cruise. Really guys if this is one of 5 you were looking at serious 6 figure dollars there.
They cruise the A&W on MacLeod and Glenmore on Wed night about 6pm, and then on Thursdays they go to the Dairy Queen on Centre Street North
