The Junk Brothers

Has anyone seen the show by The Junk Brothers? I have not. They started shooting another season in the studio/warehouse beside us. I come in to work this morning and they are ripping apart a mid '70's New Yorker.

Seems the front end will be a wall ornament! headbang.gif

Is it one of the Trailer Park Boys cars?

I just joined the human race this week by getting Rogers cable with 180 stations so what station is it on? All I have been doing is watching Pinks Flat out and Pass Time and man is it boring. Can't believe it is costing me $57 per month for that crap.

Geez, what did you have before, rabbit ears?  Maybe a better question, what caused you to finally spring for the big bucks?

TV sucks. I'm a bit of a news junkie. If you want to see what's really going on in the world, watch BBC. CNN is a joke...
Discovery, History and Speed are about the only ones I watch..

Don't get me started on CNN, the most bias "journalists" I have ever seen.

There is good programming out there, you just have to be selective.  I basically watch the same channels you do, plus a few others like AMC, TMC, BNN and IFC.  I gotta admit I do like Holmes on Homes on HGTV.  Plus live sports.

I don't miss cable really. I'm able to keep up with all the latest at work. CNN journalists...funny...i still think Muchmusic when i see John "JD" Roberts.  And don't get me started on Glen Beck or Nancy Grace!  We had cable before moving last year. Didn't have the digital, and i was ticked when Rogers moved Speed off the service and up the channel numbers last year. Now i don't miss it either. I'm not a big stock car fan and that's all they seemed to have. I actually did like Bull Run last year on Spike. I'd rather be doing stuff on my car now...well until winter. I hope to be taking a basic mechanics course Monday nights at Fanshawe over the next couple months so that will keep me busy as long as it doesn't get cancelled, guess i'll find out when i get home tonight. I used to watch History and Discovery too, but it got to be repeats. Same with Holmes on Homes, good show but was on all the time.  We're saving at least $50/month now and only have a half dozen channels to go through to see there's nothing on. Probably get digital cable or satellite sometime...maybe when analog goes out in 2011.  Funny, i called Rogers asking a phone question and they asked if i wanted cable, i said no...and he says...do you watch TV, do you have one...moron!

I only have 2 channels, and I don't really miss anything. I'm not a Nascar fan so I don't miss Speed any more.

We gave up cable in '93 when we moved to the country. When our son was born a year later we moved the TV to the basement. Then we made an effort to give up TV. It took a couple of years to kick the habit. The only time I ever turn on a TV now is in a hotel room to scroll mindlessly through the channels over and over and over to remind myself I could do that at home for $60 a month if we subscribed.

However, my 2-3 hours late each day on the computer is another story!!!

Hey, I found it on channel 116. They cut up a Lincoln but it was cool when they were done. The Lincoln looked like a rancher's pick up when they were done.
