Classic - Cult car movies

Rather than hijack another thread I thought I would start a new post for this one.
Being a car nut like most people on here I have been collecting some of the classic cult car movies mostly from the early 70's but some from earlier and later years that pay tribute to the automoble.
All of my movies are on DVD and more and more are becoming available each year. I just purchased a few more from Amazon this week.
Feel free to contact me for my opinion on these. I have seen most of them several times. Most sites selling these movies have a review section to check out as well.
In no particular order here is my list:

American Grafitti
Cannonball Run
Cannonball Run II
Thunder Road
Smokey and the Bandit
Smokey and the Bandit 2
Smokey and the Bandit 3
The Gumball Rally
Dazed and Confused
The Dukes of Hazzard
Grand Prix
Easy Rider
LeMans
Cry Baby
Aloha Bobby and Rose
Dirty Mary and Crazy Larry
The California Kid
Funny Car Summer
Super Speedway
Driven
Bullitt
Christine
Two Lane Blacktop
Gone in 60 Seconds (N Cage)
Gone in 60 Seconds (original)
The Junkman ( sequel to above)
Hollywood Knights
Vanishing Point (original)
Starsky and Hutch

If anyone has more that are not listed here on VHS or DVD I would be interested to know what is available.

I always wanted to find, buy or watch again : Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry ! I only seen it in the theater when it came out in 1974 and never seen it eversince ! Where is the best place to buy it ? Pascal P.S. I was only 10yrs old then and loved that movie.

Movie : The Car, is another good one. Seen it back in the 70's too. Evil Black Lincoln chasing cars around and blows up over a cliff at the end.

No. but that was a good movie with Luke Skywalker as the star. It wasn't much of a car movie. Just one that was in the 80's and have never found it.

Was it "Carrie" that had the red 67 Chevelle SS 396 that rolled and when it went over you could see it fold the SS hood? Also, as I recall you got a look at the TH400 pan if you played it in slow motion.

Actually it was a TV show, Man Undercover. Cassidy played a young looking cop. As you said, he went back to high school to fight crime. The show aired in the late 70's.

There was a movie came out around 91 i believe called Terror on wheels. You can find clips of it on Youtube, at least you used to be able to. It's a chase between a mini school bus and what i think is a 71-74 Charger that's been modified. Not sure if it's on DVD. Then there was also Speed Zone, which was really Cannonball Run 3 from 1989. Again not sure if it's on DVD.  Last night at the local Rogers i picked up Mad Max on DVD for $5.   I have DeathRace 2000 with Stallone in it...if you want to consider it in the category. It's on VHS but can copy to DVD. I still want to find a cheap...at least reasonably priced...copy of Two Lane Blacktop...or at least one to "back up" as it were...same goes for the French Connection.

I've probably seen Duel about 30 times. I always wanted to own a red Valiant like the one in the movie and get plates that say Duel..

Actually, The Merc used in Cobra was Stallone's personal car.
The one they wrecked was a basket case replica built special for that one scene.

    Has anyone seen Fast Company?

It's more of a racing movie but there is one scene of a T/F Funnycar driving down the street. He stops at a redlight and two stoners in an early Challenger what to run against him.

Do I really need to tell you who won?
