Another 65 C/S - before / after

Here are some shots of the sad car when I bought it and what it now looks like.  Check out those Chevy wheels!  ...The first thing to go.  All the gauges, clock and speedo have been meticulously detailed by cleaning, re-painted needles and even polished the chrome in the center.  All the seats and panels are done and are the original color.  Paint is Escalade code, pearl white.  Options added are tilt and pwr locks.  All interior lights are now blue LED's.  The tail lights are also LED and look awesome.  The grills, emblems and headlight bezels have yet to be re-chromed, hopefully this winter.  I know it's not perfect but it was done just to be a driver.  More @ http://www.cosmiccolor.ca/Gallery.html

Looks better than my driver.  The spray foam is for keeping the cold air out of the trunkconfused

All nice pics, but I love the tail shot of a 65. That is a beautiful design someone came up with at Pontiac.

Totally agree!  I've always thought the 65 had the nicest trim.
I have this wild idea tho... I want to put a Bonneville tail on it (3 lights / side), switch letters to Parisienne and incorporate the sequential signals from a 60's Cougar.  Is this crazy or would it be cool?  hmm

There is a 65 C/S hardtop in Winnipeg, 327, factory 4 speed that someone did the Bonneville conversion on. I don't think sequential, however! Cool idea though...

I saw the car once a few years ago, but otherwise had not seen it since the early 80's when it was for sale and I took it for a ride.
