I couldnt find previous posts, on relatives, but we have a minor celeb. in our family.. My wife is from N.B. as well as me, and her 1st cousins daughter, is the girl in the "now running" Air Miles commercial..(Marla Black) Its amazing how she resembles my wife, and our grand daughter!... The gentleman who used to own my car(Glenn Thomas) is a actor in TO, and 73SC is a super star.. I is surrounded by greatness.. wonder how I can cash in? I will get Todd to add a "click here" to see our girl in action..... thanks Carl too

She did a nice job. Who knows she may get a tv show. I mean the girl in that show Sophie on CBC i remember from a few years ago was in Canada Post commercials. As for me, my face might not get seen but listeners get to hear me everyday over the airwaves
I don't know about famous but I have relatives in the Irish Dance entertainment industry. The Leahy Family from the Peterborough area, they have a few record albums and toured with Shania Twain. They have a big following in that field. I have no contact with them but it's cool non the less!
I have people say i look alot like Dave Navarro who is a famous guitar player and was married to Carmen Electra.I have even had people take pics of me with them so they could show their friends. Ive played on stage with a couple somewhat famous bands such as Big Sugar and also with Kim mitchell at a party once. Oh yeah, and my dad was the first drummer for Helix before they got big in the 80's. Anybody want guitar lessons? Im starting to teach again.
Randy is going to give me my first big break in radio. He doesn't know this though....

I'm on air afternoons from 2 to 7 in Tillsonburg, ON. at Easy 101, that's 101.3 Sorry no website for our station It's easy listening, mix of everything from Frank Sinatra to the Eagles, Phil Collins to the Four Tops. 60's, 70's, 80's and some current releases. Todd you want that big break...hmmm...well you'll have to start at the bottom and work your way up. So i think we'll get you down into the music library to sort out all that vinyl
Sophie and Shania both from Timmins my home town ! Shania ( Eileen Edwards)went to TH&VS and was in some of my youngest brothers classes. She was in a band called Long Shot and played at a bar called the The Escapade. I really enjoyed that local band especially when Shania did the Pat Benatar set. Sophie went to O'gorman High School ( Catholic School) but I forget her name. Our local paper just did an article on her and mentioned all the commercials she did.
