This isn't for any religious reason, they simply have not been able to find Three wise Men in the Nation's capitol... p.s. There was no problem, however, finding enough asses to fill the stable

BELGRADESerbian president Vojislav Kostunica will deploy more than 20,000 peacekeeping troops to Canada Tuesday, pledging full support to the troubled North American nation as it struggles to establish democracy. "We must do all we can to support free elections in Canada and allow democracy to gain a foothold there," Kostunica said. "Canada is a major player in the Western Hemisphere and its continued stability is vital to Serbian interests in that region." Kostunica urged Stephane Dion, Canada's opposition-party leader who is refusing to recognize the nation's Oct 20 election results, to "let the democratic process take its course." "Mr. Dion needs to acknowledge the will of the people and concede that he has lost this election," Kostunica said. "Until Canada's political figures learn to respect the institutions that have been put in place, the nation will never be a true democracy."Serbian forces will be stationed throughout the Canada, with an emphasis on certain trouble zones. Among them are Ottawa, Western Canada, and Quebec, where Dion set up headquarters in Bloc territory. An additional 10,000 troops are expected to arrive in the capital city of Ottawa by Friday. Though Kostunica has pledged to work with Canadian leaders, he did not rule out the possibility of economic sanctions if the crisis is not resolved soon. "For democracy to take root and flourish, it must be planted in the rich soil of liberty. And the cornerstone of liberty is elections free of tampering or corruption," Kostunica said. "Should Canada prove itself incapable of learning this lesson on its own, the international community may be forced to take stronger measures."

Indeed, the last census infromation showed that 76% of Canadians identified themselves as Christians, 2% as Muslims and 1.2% as Jewish.
Seems rather odd that we think it is OK to offend 76% of the population using "Holiday" and "Festive Season". Goes with out saying, we look hard and wide in my house for cards that actually say Christmas. We have some beautiful ones this year we got at Macey's in the US. Hard to locate here in Canada.
Its time the 76% of us start taking back our country and our Christmas! Remember the e-mail last year? ,that suggested, that if you are offended, by the Merry Christmas Greeting , stay at work, and dont take the holiday time off.. Why would politians vote the nativity scene out of federal buildings, but take 6 weeks or so off, for Christmas?

I have been saying for a few years now that I will do that. This year I got onto it too late. When I was down in Florida I saw one at Lowes but it was too big to ship ecomonically home. It was $250 and was a bout 4 to 5 feet high. I noticed one tonight on the lawn of a United Church in my neighbourhood, first time they have had it.
the thing is, we don't say anything publicly and "they" get away with ruining what Christmans and what Canada is about. We need to learn to speak up and let our voice be heard
