Count your Pistons !

For fun let's hear how many pistons you own in running engines, count 'em all, cars , boats, chain saws, lawn mowers, snow blowers, snow machines. I don't know how to count a rotary engine so use your judgement. I know we have a lot of guys with big pistons but lets hear how many!

Lets see who our King of the Piston is!

I don't have that many but I'll start,

73SC = 40

I ring in at 55 (including the original L48 350 from the convertible, a spare LS4 454 and a spare 455HO).  Plus I have the 8 original pistons from the 454 before being rebuilt.  That brings me to 63.

regarding the rotary engine, I'd say counting the spark plugs is fair.

Whoops, I missed the wife's Honda CRV 4 banger.

That puts me up to 67 (including the 8 old pistons in a box).

So they have to be installed and running in something?

The engine waiting to go into the Acadian won't count? Spare Impala engine won't count?

  I opened my own shop after I severed most of my ties with GM. ('88-'06) These are mine that I have collected starting in '82. I have a lot of others on my place that are not listed and that are customers!!
 "The boy who dies with the most toys, wins!!" Not really, just like my stuff..I will post pics of the stuff I had behind the dealer I was working at here.....I had to remove them when I quit in '04...

I envy you. I really wish we had bought property in the country instead of here in town. Then again, I'd be even more poor from dragging home all those "good deals"!
