I drove 6 hours to Detroit airport and back Thursday, and I tell you, no the only snow is in Clinton      1-3 feet of it today..

I was in Cape Town in 97 with the canadian navy. quite the hidden jewel i might add. i didn't expect to see penguin on the beach in south africa, but i did.

I flew out of Calgary on Sunday. It was snowing and they had to de-ice the plane. Same thing in Halifax at the stop. It was raining in St. John's when I arrived, but it snowed overnight Monday for the first time. Rain and 10 degrees are predicted for Wednesday, rain and 14 for Thursday, which I hope will put an end to the snow - for a while at least. Happy to see it just before Christmas, then happy for it to go.

I spent the morning blowing out the home property and the 2nd house drive and walk. no  It has rained all day and supposed to get cold and snow tonight cry I am  really WORRIED about the roofshmm  The snow is sooo heavy, and wont slide off    It started wet, and is over a foot deep !!  Our car port is pulling the aluminum trim apart as it sags...   This is "heart attack snow"  This cold from last week is killing me, and I cant stay in...disbelief I will have to get up the roofs tomorrow.. furious
