Need trim!

I posted this way back with no luck so I thought I would try again.
I really need this front fender spear. This car was tarped and the wind ripped of the tarp as well as the front of the spear. 1965 Acadian Canso SD. Will only fit from a 65 too. I bought one for a 64 from Year One it it is slightly different style and shape. (so I have that one to trade I guess). If anyone has one, I may have some parts to trade as well.

Maybe I am using the wrong terminology that's why I posted the picture. It runs along the top corner of the front fender. It is one piece from the door to the headlight. you can see in the picture the part that is missing.

As you know, I can't help you with a moulding, but can you tell me about the 64 SS part? Does it sit in a different place on the fender, or is it just a different contour only?

Carl ,
Similar but not quite. It sits in the same spot but the profile is slightly different as well as the shape. The curve at the end (where it goes to the headlight) is a bit different radius. The trim is about 3/4" (same as the 65 SD) There is a flat spot on the one edge that is about 1/4" on the 64 but it is slightly (but noticabley) bigger (maybe 5/16") on my 65. This is a repro though. You know how those can be! If you could keep your eyes and ears open that would be great. I do have a bunch of parts from a 65 invader 4 door that I could trade if needed. I found a donor car in Niagara Falls an had him strip it down and ship me abunch of GOOD stuff via greyhound. I am also looking at another 65 canso that needs way more work than mine so I am considering it for a few parts. Any that might interest you?

Is it a hardtop or sedan you are looking at?

Not much comes to mind but my nephew in Alberta has the twin to mine (white and all). I haven't seen his car yet as he just got it this fall, but I think there may be a few pieces he is looking to improve on his.

I have never parked my SD beside an SS to compare the trim. If I have it out next summer I will have to see if I can find one to check out.
