I'm not big on video games but I do enjoy a good driving game. My son and I picked up an Xbox 360 a few months ago. Today we stopped into Staples and they had a selection of 360 games on for $9.99. My son bought Moto GP 2007 and I picked up Project Gotham Racing 4. Wow! What a great driving game. The graphics are fantastic! Great cars as well. My first race had me driving a Daytona Yellow 69 Camaro Z28. The Camaro was very accurately depicted with it's high winding 302 and 4 speed transmission. The BEST view is from the drivers seat. You see "your" arms on the steering wheel and your right arm leaves the wheel to shift gears. You can actually move your "head" in all directions. I enjoyed looking at my right arm row through the gears. The console even has the correct gauges! The best race was me versus an 87 Buick GNX and a GMC Syclone. I held my own however the turns slowed me down. A little application of my handbrake would allow me to drift into the turns. I nailed the wall a few times (you even get cracks and dirt on your windshield). It started raining and all hell broke loose. Your wipers come on the rain and water effects on the windshield are amazing! You can also replay your race from several different "camera angles". My son never did get a chance to try it! There are several cars available (most are locked at first) including the new Challenger. If you have a 360 and a Staples near by be sure to pick up this game! It's fantastic. Between this and Canadian Poncho, I'll never get out to the damn garage!
My son doesn't play them too much anymore But I did enjoy the driving games too. I always liked "Need For Speed" and I'd "Be the Cop" driving a big ole Crown Vic black and white. I got pretty good at the "pick".
He has a Formula 1 game too that was a lot of fun, much better than the NASCAR games he had.
