Actually the reserve was $48,000 U.S. but they did offer it after the auction ending at $20,000 and change for $22,000-it was a clone then and still a clone-nice car-decent price for the frame off big block it is-this market likely won't bare it-I think a lot of guys were caught off guard with the 22 but now fiqure in shipping/taxes at the border and your almost there

The restoration on the rag is the key. Has this guy offered up any photos as to the quality of the resto. The money is fine for the right resto. Rags are bad for rust and always need everything. The best money spent is a digital camera. If he wants to move it, prove it!!

I wonder about the black htp as I recall seeing it for sale in Kelowna about 1 1/2 - 2 years ago Seems to move around the province a bit

If anyone is interested in the rag top I also live in south surrey I could always take a quick look for anyone

This is the same car from ebay in South Dakota. The car looked to be very well done when I saw it-very nice-super straight.Yes it is a clone ,but you honestly couldn't build a car that nice for $30,000.00.Hey just try to find all the correct trim.I have restored a couple of cars-we all know it isn't cheap at all-in anyway. If I didn't have so many already I would buy this car in a heartbeat.Throw a set of wheels on it and have some fun driving it.The car is very very nice whether it is a clone or not.

Wish I had the money for the green rag-I'd add redlines on 14 inch rallys a white stripe and paint them quarter panel louvers correct-thats not much money spent to really change the car-great ride nice price-I sent it out to a few people but their holding their money close to their chest these days-agreed you could only dream about building a car for that money. I'd rather have a good clone than a whipped project for similar $ I sold a clean 67 malibu rag for close to that money-so a big block and nice ! yes give me $30,000 to spend anyway I want and it'll be in my garage !

That car was a great deal at that price off of ebay! there were more pictures in the ebay ad, it looked to be quite well done. John did you see the car in person? I cant remember what exchange was at the time, but he isnt trying to make a fortune on it thats for sure! There never were pics of the starting point for the resto that i've seen...
