Shame to see it that way.
I don't know, but she looks pretty tough. I mean sitting out in the grass like that can't do the underbody any good.
Factory CB?

I have been talking to him for the past couple of days now to see if I can purchase the complete car from him. If anything, trying to persuade him not to part it. Definately, NOT a parts car!! I have another '70 2+2 here that I want to make one out of the two with. Another Poncho for the stable???

I know the car and the seller.  I looked quickly at the car about 7 or 8 years ago on a winter day, it's IDENTICAL to my gold hardtop that came from the same dealer, and the body number is only a couple away from mine (I've never had a chance to check the VIN, but I'm sure it's only a couple away from mine).  The present owner bought the car a couple years ago, he's always buying and selling cars / parts, has been doing so for likely 30 years.  I was hoping to get the diff & tranny, but sounds like they're gone.

I was going to try to get some parts from him too but if the car is being purchased whole I'll leave it alone.

I agree the car should be saved. Too many decent late 60's CP B-bodies have been parted over the years. Let us know how you make out.

Seventy2plus2: Have you posted photos of your hardtops? I'd really like to see them!
