The car is a numbers match rebuilt C-6 car. It needs minor drivers quarter lip repair for the body and thats it. Solid floors, needs the seat recovered, carpet, and a paint job. Looks like a Starscreen and hutch car. Super rare running and driving car factory big block. $4500.00 OBO

Especially when it had the word "Boss" as a prefix.  But we are talking 1976 here, literally the dark ages when it comes to performance engines.  At least Pontiac still had 400's in the T/As that could churn out 220 "net" hp and still make for a fairly quick car, especially with the stick.  What was carrying the performance torch for Ford in those days - the Pinto-Mustang with it's firebreathing 302?  I think that was rated at about 125 hp?laughing.giflmao.gif

Changes for 1976 were mainly visual. There was one transmission change in mid-year, however, the V-8, increased to 139 hp, was made available with the 4-speed. New black w/white trim bumper inserts were standard on all II's, replacing the chrome ones. Ford offered two cosmetic option packages, which was popular in the '70's.

Don't forget that 139 net is really 199 Gross!

The only thing good about those Pinto-stangs was that Farrah Fawcett drove one on Charlie's Angels!
