The Bowtie Stable....

Here are the rides currently in the stable.  Grey '69 Chevelle is my first car.  Was working on a frame off resto but then other cars came along.  Funny how that happens.  It is still in pieces.

Light green '69 Chevelle was purchased from original owner back in 1991.  Orig. bill of sale, protect -o-plate, 307 with a th350, P/S & P/B.    The original owner traded a '66 Beaumont 4 door for it.  This car was bone stock when I bought it right down to the four T-3 headlights, spiral shocks and 61,000 original miles.  Currently getting a repaint with 70,000 miles on it now.

Glacier blue '69 Chevelle convertible purchased back in 1995.  Inline "tower of power" 230 with a glide.  P/S and P/Top with AM radio were the only options.    This car is the one my wife said is not for sale at any time.  The car rolled of the assembly line on February 20th, 1969.  Our first daughter was born on February 20th, 2004.  My wife has already deemed this car for her when she is old enough to drive it.

Back in the early 1990's,  My 2 Chevelle hardtops and a '68 Malibu ragtop (I wish I still had...)  with my Brother's '68 Chevelle were all parked in my Dad's 24'x40' garage.  I wish there was a photo of that but we never took one of all of them parked in there.  A friend of mine was over one day,  looked into the garage and called it "Chevelle Hell".  That name has kind of stuck all these years later.

Our little 1934 Chevrolet Standard coach.  This car belonged to my Dad when I was a kid.  This car and our '52 Pontiac I attribute to my passion for old cars.  He sold it in 1981 and I bought it back in 2006.  We are currently finishing up its restoration that was started by it's previous owner.  This car was sold at the same time our '52 Pontiac was sold (1981).  That is why it is so unbelievable to have found our old 1952 Pontiac on this site.  Thanks to "wwdaze" for our chat and being it's keeper.  Some day,  I hope to take you up on your offer!

I would post photos of my wife's '04 Montana, but why?   All of the Chevelles are Oshawa built and the '34 was from Regina so it was most likely assembled at the GM Regina factory.

I am still trying to find more photos of our past Pontiacs.  Once they are all scanned,  I'll post them on the Memories or past rides forum.  Cheers!

That's a great looking bunch. I really like that '34. I've developed a taste for the look of pre war cars and the cars of the 30's are some of my favourites.

Thanks guys. Yeah Dave the '34 is a stock resto. 181 cu/in, 60 hp - 6 cylinder with the 3 spd. After the car disappeared back in the late 80's, we figured someone finally Rodded it. It never happened. The chap my Dad sold it to in 1981, kept it until 1999 and then sold it to the owner that I bought it from. The guy that I bought the car from performed a frame -off on it. He was restoring it in such a meticulous manner that when the car was to be finished, he didn't want to have anyone finding anything incorrect about it. We are just following the same philosophy and trying to finish it. It needs paint and interior to finish. The only body work needed was on all 4 fenders. They were restored by Paul Dennison of Heavy Metal Studios in Hamilton. I would recommend him to anyone needing any metal fabrication. The man does excellent work. It needed some woodwork as well that is now finished. A good chord of wood is in all of these old GM Fisher bodies!
