66 pontiac catalina sw

Heres a few pics of a 66 pontiac catalina sw that I sold last year to a guy in Saskatchewen. It was alot of fun to own,the kids loved riding in the 9 pass seat in the rear, but had to sell it to buy a 66 Beaumont SD 2drht that came up
I know its an american car but it is a Pontiac so I thought I would post em anyway
The car had a 389 4bbl,tilt,air cond, rally wheels, power tailgate and floated down the road,oh well at least I have the beaumont to work on now!

What a wagon.Nice interior, and factory A/C, bonus+++. I love those dashes. My old '66 2+2 was black interior and the dash looked awesome. My friend's '66 Grand Prix he had back in '76 was the best of them all.

That is one cool wagon!  Love those sexy air dashes too.

Hey, your avatar picture.  If that's a 53 pontiac two door I have one of those that I gave to my stepson to fix.  He will never do it in amillion years (not really a car kid)
Do you need another one?

Yes you guys were right, the car beside the 66 pontiac is a 60 chev parkwood wagon. Its my daily driver when the whether gets better, ive since found a roof rack for it along with an original 60s surf board, its paint is mostly original, faded turquoise and surface rust, ill find some pics of that too and post them. Its gets two very different reactions at the shows, from hey great old car to when are you gunna paint that thing!
And the price I got on the 66 pont when I sold it this past summer was 7500.00,not sure if I
would get that now for it but who knows.

I found my roof rack on ebay of all places, its very close to the original style, the hardest part was trying to figure out if the rack goes on the front or back of the roof. The ribs ase on the front for strength but almoct every wagon ive seen has it on the rear, untill a freind of mine showed me a picture of a 60 wagon his grandfather bought brand new with the rack on the front,so that decided it,front it is.Alot of guys still come up to me and tell me I put it on wrong but oh well looks good to me,Ill have to get a copy of that pic for evidence lol.

Yeah, they do look kinda odd on the front, but thats where they go.  All the ones I've seen on EBAY are going for big bucks, oh well, I'll keep looking.  Its not a big deal if I do put one on, but the Idea of cruisin round  with a surfboard is kinda neat!!!
