Anyone see what that a-hole did to Tim THomas last night? Thomas should have broken his stick over this idiot's head! I really hope some ciment head kills this guy soon, as this is NOT what hockey is about! Man this is Bettman's creation, maybe it's about time someone put's Don Cherry in charge. Avery would wind up in a wheelchair in seconds if rot for the stupid Bettman rule! Man this kind of junk is bad for the game! Someone Maim Avery PLEASE! furiousfuriousfurious

It's gone past rehabilitation now. This is a seriously mentally ill individual. It's very difficult to feel sorry for him now.

On a lesser note Roloson was run by Alex Burrows but that was called and cost the Canucks the game. Meanwhile Berger was poped twice by Plekanec, not called and a goal. This is Bettmans NHL !

Hillar, it is widely recognized that Bettman is a proponent for removing fighting from hockey and in an effort to do so has lobbied hard and long for the implementation of the instigator rule, which basically gives Sean Avery a free hand to do his little behind the back tricks and get away with it. All this rule has done is allow cheap shot artists like Avery to further erode the credibility of hockey in US markets.

Wow, such a classy play...NOT!
Just what is needed, a bunch of cheap shot artists retaliating against each other. If you can't have enforcers to protect your players, bring out the cheap shotters.

It means that no one will take justice in hand by pounding the crap out of him next time they play because of the 2 and 10 rule. He refuses to fight back like a man so he cruises around untouched.
