All look very nice-I recently purchased a set of 67-69 center cap ornaments and am less than impressed-the design is nearing egg shaped and the spiral in the middle is missing in places. Its great this stuff is available but I'm happy to have bought back the pitted ones from Carl and am sorry for selling all the original sets I had over the years including the ones Dale bought. The V-8 fender emblem I bought are very nice

Really? I bought 4 sets from him and they are all absolutely beautiful-nothing like what you are describing at all.I have them on two of my finished cars and they truly are much better than any of the original I have had or still have for that matter.Did you ask him to get you replacements?

I actually ordered them because I heard your comments and Carl's about how good they are-when you consider $200 a set or just $50 each I guess the shape of mine is what one should expect but I am disappointed-the V-8 emblems are nice

I didn't ask for replacements for fear of sounding too fussy for the price-everyone has their opinion about what great quality is I guess-I'm sure from what I see yours would be good-maybe I did get a bad batch-but I will add I had him drop off a "mint" hood here last week that was no better than the one I took off ( rusted across the lip on the inside-lotsa blisters on the outside, previous collision damage on the side) I refer a lot of people to him and generally believe his products are as good as anything else offered.

I hope this won't be considered a personal attack-just intended as information from a personal experience.

Well I have have had great experiences from him and his parts. As far as myself being a judge of quality-I am as fussy as they come.If you had an issue with the center caps I am sure he would have replaced them for you.I guess as a business owner myself I would always hope my customers would complain to me rather than other people after the fact.I also bought a bunch of emblems from him for Beaumonts as well and they have all been first class. You obviously got some blems.

Just got the leaflette showing the new repro emblems.

Just for interest sake and not to sound picky, the 68 grill emblem should be all red in the boarder instead of black.  was a one year thing.
I've had about 5 original 68 grill spears over the years and every one has been all red.
Probably just an oversite on there part. easy to repaint.
