Pretty exciting night in town for hockey fans as we qualified for the Memorial Cup.  It was the biggest upset in WHL history as we finished 24 points behind Calgary who were ranked No 1 for much of the year in the CHL.  I didn't think we had much of a chance earlier in the year loosing Luke Schenn but there is something about a bunch of guys who like playing for each other and they proved it tonight.  Some of our alumini include Alexander Edler, Josh Gorges, Scott Hannan, Vern Fiddler, Travis Moen, Duncan Keith, Chuck Kobasew, Blake Comeau, Shea Weber, and Luke Schenn.  Sudden death overtime is named appropriately, but sure is exciting.  Anyhow the city is hopping tonight.
