Ahh, another Albertan!!! Hopefully your car will make an appearance in Edmonton some time this summer. I will be keeping an eye out for it. (But if you meet my wife, please, no mention that it was a gift from your husband. No need setting a precident...

Very nice car Geoff ! Looks very straight. Nice colors and stance. It gives me serious motivation to get working on mine. You probably know this already, but Taylor at DT Stainless makes the complete set of reproduction SD Trim for the '66. I'll probably order from him soon. He's supose to get back to me with new prices. He said he's in the midst of changing his prices. I don't know which direction he meant, but hopefully down. When I hear I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the compliments Peter. The good news is that it does look good from afar, but the bad news is...yup, far from good. She's all there, but she does need and deserve a frame off. Very little time and money has gone into it for the past 20 years. It is a well used/enjoyed car. I just cut out some rust from the rear passenger fender well which was swelling up and put the chrome on to cover the area. A band aid solution, but it buys me a little more time to continue driving and enjoying it until the day comes that I can do a proper restoration. As a result...it is you who is motivating me!

That's awesome your getting such good use out of your wicked ride Geoff. I haven't driven mine in almost 10 years. Just got the full RR quarter panel yesterday from Gasoline Alley. It's the last piece of metal I need to fool with. Can't wait to get it on. I'm hoping to take my Aunt for a ride in it one of these days. Bought the car off her back in the 70's and now she wants to go for a ride with that top down like the 'ol days. ps....she's 93 if you can believe it, and still going strong !
Sounds like a gal with taste. I'm sure she'll be tickled with what you accomplished with the car!

What's wrong with the Sd chrome on your car? It looks like it's all there. I'm curious what DT wants for 66 stuff also. I'm still on the fence with the DT 65 Sd Beaumont Rocker chrome I need. I would gladly trade my 66 Sd rocker chrome for 65 SD stuff because I need it right now for my Sd rag project.
This is actualy a 1968 Beaumont (Kijiji doesn't list Beaumont ) . Car is 100% disassembled . Very nice body , excelent floor pans , excelent trunk floor . Car does need quarter panels that come with the car . All Beaumont specific parts are there in good shape . No engine or trans but can supply non #'s matching cores if required . No time for this project or i would keep it . $3000.00 phone 403-947-2260
