Happy Victoria day guys! Anybody going out for a tour or any cruises going on? I'm heading to Turkey Point on Lake Erie to get the boat ready for the season, but I will probably take the 79 T/A out on Monday. Make sure you have your Canadian Poncho window sticker on
I hear there is a live band at Thornhill on Monday. I haven't had the LeMans out yet but it does start and run. We are getting watermain rehabilitation in our neighbourhood and it is a construction zone, there is a stack of 6 inch pipe beside my house and a pile of asphalt and some tar like mix at the end of my driveway, Bobcat parks overnight beside my place too. I see the Suburban has a dent and 3 foot scratch along the rear quarter which appeared in the last two days. I'll see if I'll risk bringing it out.
We always have the big 427/Queensway Cdn Tire Cruise every Sat. night. Hopefully the rain they are calling for in TO tomorrow will clear up by late afternoon and allow for a good turn out.
C1, I hear they are calling for snow north of Winterpeg tonight!

There's a world of wheels car show in Peachland just a half an hour out of Kelowna on Sunday that I'm hoping to make it to. I phoned the lady and they are expecting around 400 cars so should be good as it is looking like a gorgeous weekend and the venue is right on Okanagan Lake.

Snow!! When I woke up this morning, there was almost 2 inches of that white stuff!! Just an hour east of me, they had a 12" plus of it. Apparently further east of that, MORE....! I still have my snowmobile outside. Was debating on firing it up for another "last" run!!! Will it ever end?

It was a great day here in SW Ont. My wife and I took the Pontiac out for a jaunt today. I put about 50 miles on her (the car!). Connie wanted to get some flowers for the garden so we decided to ride in style. At the first flower nursery I got a nice big box to store all our purchases in to keep from getting any part of the car dirty! The car ran great.
