Went for the day and took a few pics, Hard press to find any Pontiacs there. Was a ok day, a little sun a little rain and a lot of wind. So windy that the faster class cars were limited to only 1/8th mile.
This was one fast Acadian, It was always anounced as a Pontiac Acadian.
Don Goodfellow and crew, great guys. Out of the trailer and before they got to tech front pump seized on power glide and split the bell housing. Great start to the season !! First purchase a aftermarket glide case.

Nice pics. What is the fastest run you saw in the 1/4?
It was a strange day,The winds got so strong that at the drivers meeting they decided to run the faster Super Pro and Pro ET classes only 1/8 th mile. A track first as far as I can remember. The slower cars were oK for the 1/4. Nothing faster than 9's in the 1/4 and 5's in the 1/8th. The quick cars stayed in the trailers. I think it was probably fear of what happened a few season ago. A 56 chevy blew over on its roof at the end of the track because of a big gust of wind.
