Need help to locate a part !

I've called every wrecking yard in Essex County to find a trunk spring  (I guess that's what you would call it) Let me explain - In my '67 beaumont, there are two rods (  approx. 3/8 dia. ) that act as springs to hold your trunk lid open when you raise the lid. One of mine is broken. Does any one have a spare that they would like to sell, OR can anyone tell me where I can get one. I'm located just east of Windsor Ontario. Sure hope somebody can help.

Let me know if that doesn't pan out. I have a 67 that I'm parting out.

I'm 6 km east of that guy, and he will not part with anything. He is the first place I checked. I don't know what he is going to do with all those cars,he must have close to 100 of them.

I went to kijiji St. Catharines, I spent about an hour looking for the site you spoke of but could not find it. Do you think you could find the phone number ?
