Welcome Finn, car looks superb, we have a few Laurentians on Board but not many 61's. I am so happy to see your car and especially the engine. We have a thread on 261 engine colour in the Library and I am now going to use you photo there too. Your engine is just the colour I remember our 61 being painted.

Welcome aboard. Fellow member Elludy (Earl) spotted a 61 bubbletop Pontiac in Delhi Ontario on the weekend. He said it looked like it just came out of a barn! Unfortunately he didn't have a camera to take some photos. I don't recall ever seeing a 61 bubbletop Canadian Pontiac "in the flesh".

 Correct, is was Mr.409s parts car way back when.  then the custodian from morris school built it.

I love the bat wing roof style, Vista Roof to the marketing people. I wonder why there was no Vista hardtop in 61, I loved the look of the flattop cars in 59 and 60.

You are correct.  It was in Morris.  That was where it was restored by Micheal Zenn.
