Very Nice NOS emblem 396 V8, Very neat, Application Unknown .  Assume some GM product being '396'.  Rare enought that those in the know don't know!  GM, Chevy, Pontiac, Acadian, Beumont?

Let's try not to get in a bidding war. I think it is NOS, and in Florida too. confuse

That is exactly the same as the ones on my 68 2+2.

I might be interested. Hmmm.

the emblem is unique to 1968 Canadian Pontiac's.

I find it useful to send the US vendor the link to the USPS website listing postage options to Canada.

http://pe.usps.com/text/Imm/ce_003.htm#ep2041503

Small packages less than 4 lbs can be sent inexpensively as USPS First-Class Mail International.

I live very close to the American border at Sarnia and I've found a little place in Port Huron Michigan that will receive packages for me for a $5 charge.

My family and I are over there quite regularly, shopping, dinner, visiting friends, so it's very convenient just to pick up my packages then.

This usually saves me money in shipping, but also in duty and brokerage fees.

There is also alot of times that US vendors won't ship to Canada, so this seems to resolve that issue too.

If anyone is interested, let me know and give you the details.

Scott

Nope. I didn't get it. I was in early, but couldn't keep up.

$81 US. I'm surprised.

$81 US + $20 US for postage if it went to Canada = at least $120 Canadian at current exchange rates, assuming you don't get dinged for any additional taxes or duty at the border, AND you still need to find another one if you want a pair.  I would think it would almost be cheaper to get them reproduced if you have one to use as a mold.

Be that as it may, just the law of supply and demand working as it should...

Hey Carl, I'm guessing Barb doesn't read your posts on here!
IF you were restoring a Hemi Mopar, $250 for n.o.s. emblems would be cheap. Besides these are rarer
biggrin

good advice    I am sorry  I should not read posts discussing money!    I have been spoiled   IF I WANT IT       I don't care how much it cost    LOL    My brother in law want to Orillia and won 33,000.00   He went back to win more!  He lost the 33 and his house, and motor home  and maxed out all his cards   Hey its only money   I have had over 100 cars  never spent what he did in  6 months   It all relative.. What about the guy who spent 225,000.00 restoring a 50.000.00 69 Pontiac  lol
