I broke it down into 3 and enlarged each section It says there are a bunch of stupid people in Moncton 40,000 people for 1 weekend once a year! $$$$$$$
No question that as a society we have to become more green when it comes to managing the daily transportation of large numbers of people. But this particular proposal is meaningless in the scheme of things. The cars that attend the atlantic nationals and other cars shows are hobby vehicles that get very little use and play next to no role in GHG emissions. To focus on them is to miss the big picture.
These dope smokers need to realize our cars are rarely driven. They are a piece of history. My wife said "What's next? Will our 125 year old house have to be torn down because it isn't as "green" as a new house?"
any time i've been to the atlantic nationals, we drive the cars in and they park for the whole day. the only exception is the cruise on saturday evening. i'm already booked in for this year.
Heres what my good friend Andy thinks. He lives in Moncton!!!
There were 80k people in Moncton for the Stones and xmas shopping is a rat race here maybe they want them to stay home too? It's always the old cars that the problem. I can send you up to 5 fossil burners, do you want them on a truck or picked up Andy
