Pontiac Police Cars - very cool picture

I saw this on another site but I stole it because it is too cool. Wouldn't have wanted to be passing through Catoosa County Georgia back in '77-'79. no

That would of been fun to be a Sheriff back in the day and drive those T/A's to the limit. I bet they had drag races to see which car was the fastest.

Don't discount those back row LeMans Enforcers they came with 400's and 455's.

Didn't those Lemans Enforcers come with the shaker hood as well? Or was that just for the movie?

Cool pic. One of the funnier car chase movies made. My son love it!( started watching at 4 years old!) Some things are timeless.

Sure is a cool pic, I like the 1978 TA's W72 400 cars and Lemans 400-455.

"Wouldn't have wanted to be passing through Catoosa County Georgia back in '77-'79. "

I passed thru there a couple of times back then. We stopped at a Stuckey's for breakfast one time and there was 3 Sheriff T/A's in there. They were leaving as we gassed up next door and I will always remember that one of them was a 4 speed and the sheriff was letting it go as he took off. It left rubber into 2nd & 3rd. So you know they had the engines done up.
