Does anyone know how many convertible pontiac parisiennes were made in canada in 1960?
Can you tell by the serial #?
I have a serial number that is 10 digits long..
i.e. 0776725xxx
I know that the 0 means 1960, the 77 means 6 cyl.,the 67 means convertible, so does that mean that the rest of it is how many this one was on the assembly line? ie. 25,xxx. Which tells me that there were over 25,000 made? that number seems really high to me so i'm guessing it doesn't work like that. Does someone know how to tell, or know the magic number for how many convertible parisiennes were built? (and if you're really knowledgeable how many of them were 6 cyl. and how many were 8cyl?)

The easiest answr to your questions is to suggest that you contact Vintage Vehicle Services in Oshawa with the serial number. It apears that George Zapora & Co have been hived-off GM of Canada...presumably about ehat has happened with GM.
