console shifter swap??

i have a 2 speed power glide shifter but my tranny is a 3 speed ,can i swap the plate that the shifter rides on to a 3 speed??

Yes but I think you need to change some internal parts on the shifter so the detents are in the right spot for the shifter.

Yes, that is the one I was thinking of. It's almost worth it to not have to spend a bunch of time making your own. I didn't talk like that when I was 25 but now...............
