63 parisienne engine and trans combo

iam starting a new project,  a 60 chevy short box.. i have a 6cyl that i removed

from my 63 parisienne years ago.it ran great and i want to use it with  an auto

trans, will a power glide, 350 or 400 turbo trans from any year or size car match

up with my motor? im trying to be very budget minded and use what i have

or can get my hands on cheap! any thoughts??

all 3 of those trans will bolt up to the 230 6cyl as long as the trans has the 'chevrolet' bellhousing bolt pattern.

Buick,Olds,Pontiac trans bolt patterns are the same as each other but different than the chev trans.
