67 SD396 Convertible on Ebay

Doesn't this car belong to a member here? Any idea what the asking price is?

Nice car...and it's a PbiggrinNTIAC?!

To reach maximum $ it's surprising there's no GM Canada documents included in the ad or at least mention of them being available?>
Also if it has the original engine and not just matching #'s it'd be worth clarifying that too..

Good luck to the seller also whoever the lucky new owner is!.

Hi Ken

Have you personally seen this car? Is there anything that is of major concern? I have tried calling and emailing with no response from the owner. 1-800-665-0193

Magical stuff Carl!.

Those docs really need to be added/included in the eBay ad quickly!.
Also it'd be best to clarify the car has it's 'original born with engine' too being matching #'s often means bs more than fact anymore!.

Weyepopping.gifW on the car!!!

Sorry John-I haven't personally seen the car-David bought my bench seat 67 SD hardtop and later bought this-he should be aware of issue areas, Carl used to own it in 79/80, I believe it was stored from 87 to 07 but clarify that with the owner-best to look at the car or have someone look at it

dlewistoronto@hotmail.com is an address I have for him

Hi everyone, David here. The engine IS the one that it was born with. There is no rust at all on the frame or body, it will just need a full resto to make it perfect but for now it is in need of an engine job (it's tired) otherwise it is a good looking driver.

Mr. Nelson I didn't get any calls at all from you but you can call me anytime at 416-433-3111

I remember that car well. It was a real looker back in the day when Carl had it. 15x8 wheels right, Carl? I know it's original looking now, but I prefer the late 70's pic's

I just noticed the pic shows the 15x7 Rallye rims. 1st time I seen it had Corvette 8" on it and wasn't it sitting up a bit higher?

You're right, Todd, but it's too nice. I want a project that requires more work.

Besides, I'm looking for a '67 Pontiac. wink

John if major concerns means rust, there isn't any, not on the body or the frame. The engine is tired and should be the first thing taken care of. The sheetmetal is all original to the car and there is no damage to any of the panels. Here are some more pictures. My phone number again is 416-433-3111 and my e-mail address is dlewistoronto@hotmail.com.

Thanks everyone again for your input and comments, I guarantee this car will stay in the family, I will only sell it to an enthusiast who will give it the care and attention that it deserves.

Carl-those are some pretty interesting pictures-funny how each set of wheels completely changes the car.

Ever notice how good a car looks after you no longer own it ?

You got that right brother!  It was a good memory car!  I was glad to have been a owner... We put new lifters in it, and I remember, it was the only car that had power drum brakes and they would fade!!  It was a bad ass "top end car"  many rins over 100 mph  It was taken to Daytona Beach in 80-81 and was a hit on the Beach   I would gladly pay 20 thousand to have it back  biggrin
